Alfred, his wife Sonya, and son Sam are the sixth generation to live on their century farm, Brandt Dairy, in Linn, Missouri. While Sonya works as an Associate Circuit Judge, Alfred runs 140 head of dairy cows and 150 head of replacement heifers. To date, he has been an active member of the Missouri dairy industry, serving in the chair role for the Missouri State Milk Board and Missouri Dairy, past president of the Missouri Holstein Association, and as a member of the Dairy Farmers of America’s Corporate Resolutions Committee and American Farm Bureau’s Dairy Advisory Committee.
