Raised on a diversified dairy and livestock farm in Wisconsin, Arin earned two degrees in Animal Science. Today, he is Superintendent and Herd Manager for the University of Wisconsin’s Lancaster Ag Research Station, raising commercial Angus cows and replacement females, backgrounding the calves, and grazing stocker cattle—all while performing research trials in genetics, grazing, nutrition, and reproduction. He and wife Lynn also run a hobby farm, raising beef calves and sheep for their children to exhibit at livestock shows and fairs. Arin served as president for the Grant County and Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Associations and Wisconsin Beef Council.
