With a BA in Education and K-12 Teaching Certification, Becky has taught, coached, worked in the airline industry, organized labor, and actively worked for political candidates and legislation at the state and federal levels. After marrying a fourth-generation stockman, today she helps husband Clifton run his homesteaded ranch and cow/calf operation in the Nebraska Sandhills. The couple runs 1,200 head of cows, many of which they drive annually to winter on corn stubble residue, about 15 miles from the ranch. Becky is a member of the Nebraska Farmer’s Union, Organization for Competitive Markets, and R-CALF.
