Born and raised on the E. L. Peterson Ranch, Ben is part of his family’s third generation to work the Judith Gap, Montana, cow/calf, backgrounder, stocker, and feedlot operation. An Animal Science graduate from Montana State University, he is active in a number of industry organizations, including local- national-level cattlemen’s associations, and as a board member for the Montana Farmers Union, Montana Premium Processing Coop, and Montana Cattleman’s Association.
