A native of Houston, Claudia earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University where she was also a member of the horse judging and livestock judging teams. Claudia is a fifth-generation rancher who owns Wright Cattle Company, a cow-calf operation near Richmond, Texas, with her husband, Quinn. Additionally, Wright is owner of R & W Real Estate, Inc., a commercial real estate brokerage company. She is also a Texas real estate appraiser and a licensed real estate broker.
She has been very active in Texas agricultural organizations as well as her local community. She grew up working in the family business, Scott Cattle Company, is a fourth-generation member of the Texas Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA). She was elected to its board of directors in 2014 after serving as the regional association promotion leader for Region 5. Claudia also served as TSCRA Association Promotion Chairman in 2014. She is a lifetime Director, along with past president and lifetime member of the Fort Bend County Fair Association. Wright is also a lifetime member of Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and vice chair of the “All Breeds Sale.”
