Along with his father, children, and grandchildren, Aquilla “Creed” Ward and his wife Trudy run Ward Cattle Company, a seventh-generation cow/calf stocker operation in Peel Tree, West Virginia. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with an emphasis in Animal Science from West Virginia University. He is especially proud of the Beef Checkoff’s support of the BQA program, whose advancements help provide safe beef for consumers. Creed has served as a past board member of NCBA, past President of the West Virginia Cattlemen, Chairman of the West Virginia Beef Board, and has also had involvement in local 4-H and FFA organizations.
