A proud veteran of the U.S. military, Dave grew up on a farm, participating in FFA in high school, showing pigs in the Houston Livestock Show, and earning an Animal Science degree in college. He worked and retired from the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service, and today runs Skull Creek Cattle & Hay in Tennessee Colony, Texas. Dave’s industry involvement includes service as past President of the Anderson County Farm Service Agency County Committee, Anderson County Beef and Forage Committee, Farm Bureau State Poultry Committee, Farm Service Agency County Committee, and FFA.
