After graduating from Purdue University with a degree in Ag Education, Ed and wife Christine started a cow/calf operation with 5 bred cows and 5 yearling heifers from her father’s farm. Today, they run the fourth-generation Johnsburg Valley Farms in southwestern Dubois County, Indiana, with the help of family. Ed is active in NCBA and Farmers Union, serves as Director for the Dubois County Cattleman’s Association and for the Indiana Beef Cattle Association—and served as Treasurer for the St. Henry Fire Department.
