Originally from Mississippi, Hayley received degrees from Mississippi State University in Animal & Dairy Science and Agriculture Education before marrying husband Craig and settling in cattle-rich northwest Iowa. There, they run a cattle and hog feedlot on their family-owned Iowa Century Farm, and raise corn, soybean, oat, and cover/forage crops. In 2021, they were proud recipients of an Iowa Farm Environmental Leader Award. Hayley is an active member of the Sioux County and Iowa Cattlemen’s Associations, and she enjoys educating readers about rural farm life on social media, showing horses and cattle, traveling, and being a mom to two sons.
