After graduating from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Jaslyn returned to the family farming, ranching, and backgrounder, stocker, cow/calf, and feedlot operation at A Lazy L Ranch in Broadwater, Nebraska. Since then, she has grown her personal herd and started assuming a management role as her father transitions into retirement. Jaslyn has experimented with Wagyu/Angus genetics and created a direct-to-consumer business with the crossbreed. Her industry involvement has included her local- and state-level cattlemen’s associations and NCBA.
