John is a second-generation Angus, Red Angus, and Hereford seedstock and cow/calf producer at Finger Lakes Cattle Co. in the Finger Lakes area of New York. He spent 33 years as an agricultural educator in the public school system and has been an active member of the cattle and beef industry, including Farm Bureau, NCBA, FFA, his local- and state-level cattlemen’s associations, NY Red Angus Association, NY Hereford Breeders Association, NY Beef Producers Association, and Chair of Beef Promotion and Food Service for Empire Farm Days.
