Married for 20 years to husband Robert, Kristy has degrees in Animal Science and Ag Education from the University of Georgia, and is a third-generation owner/operator of a cow/calf, embryo, and hay operation in Screven, Georgia. She is a member of Farm Bureau and NCBA; is a board member for the Satilla Soil and Water Conservation Commission, member of the Georgia Beef Commodity Commission, and Secretary/Treasurer of the Wayne County Livestock Association; and served as President of the Georgia Cattlemen’s Association.
