A fifth-generation rancher, Mark lives in Beaver County, Utah, where he manages his family’s winter range. Along with his father and brother, Mark manages a herd of 1,200 Hereford/Angus cattle. In the summer, he harvests alfalfa and corn. He and his wife, Nicki, have six children: 3 girls and 3 boys, ages 11 to 24, who can often be found helping with the cattle, riding horses, and building fences. Mark served as chairman of the Utah Beef Council, president of the Utah Cattlemen’s Association, and NCBA’s Region 6 Federation chair.
