Marty and her husband, Russ, own and operate their own cow-calf operation, Stingley Ranch, with the help of their four adult children. The ranch is home to 500-plus head of Angus and 300-plus head of Angus X cattle. The Stingleys raise Timothy and alfalfa hay on more than 1,200 acres of owned and leased crop acres. The family also owns and operates Stingley Ranch Trucking to haul livestock and hay with six trucks in their current fleet. In addition to working for the family cattle operation, Marty also owns Marty Stingley Photography and manages a flock of around 50 Columbia/Suffolk sheep.

Marty is active in numerous beef industry associations, including American National Cattlewomen, Kittitas County Cattlemen and Kittitas County Cattlewomen, where she served on various committees and was a vice president. She’s also a member – and photographer – for the Washington State Cattlemen’s Association, as well as the Washington State Cattlewomen, where she served terms as vice president and president, as well being the liaison to the Washington State Beef Commission. She was the 2018 Washington State Cattlewoman of the Year.
