A born-and-bred Idahoan, Trish and her husband, Stan, have owned the Dowton 3X Ranch, a cow-calf operation, since 1992. Trish has many responsibilities on the ranch, spending much of her time caring for the cows during calving season and riding on summer ranges. She also manages the ranch’s finances, irrigates and runs hay equipment. She holds a bachelor’s degree in agriculture economics from the University of Idaho.
