VeaBea and her husband Troy are the owners/partners of Thomas Ranch in South Dakota. The ranch was founded in the early 1900s by Troy’s great grandparents, and generations later, VeaBea and Troy run it as a seedstock operation for purebred Angus, SimAngus, Simmental, Red Angus, and Charolais cattle; a farming operation for corn, soybeans, sunflowers, and other rotational crops and forages; and a fall hunting destination for Ringneck Pheasants. VeaBea has served in leadership positions on the Federation, SD Beef Industry Council, SD Beef Breeds Council, SD Summer Spotlight Youth Show, and more.
