Position: Senior Director of Evaluation & Outreach
Beka Wall is a Colorado native and grew up on her family’s farm/ranch (22 Ranch) in Merino, CO. Beka attended Colorado State University (CSU) where she received her B.S. in Animal Science. Upon graduating from CSU, Beka attended the University of Minnesota and completed her M.S. degree in Meat Science.
After graduation, Beka had the opportunity to work for the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association (CCA). During her time at CCA, Beka worked closely with members on recruitment/retention campaigns, natural resource conversation programs and policy initiatives.
As the Marketing Specialist for the U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF), Beka gained in-depth knowledge of red meat industries in the international marketplace. Her main responsibilities were compiling USMEF’s strategic marketing plans as well as generating proposals for market development and promotion programs for U.S. red meat.
Most recently, Beka has worked for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA). In her role, Beka worked with NCBA’s corporate members and assisted both members and exhibitors with their sponsorship and advertising/marketing objectives.
Beka has a passion for agriculture and is excited that Cattlemen’s Beef Board will allow her the opportunity to work for the beef checkoff segment of the industry. Beka also looks forward to working with the Cattlemen’s Beef Board staff, volunteer leaders and producers.
