Position: Chief Financial Officer
Jeff Lutz was hired in October 2018 as the Manager of Financial Compliance and quickly moved to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role for the Cattlemen's Beef Board (CBB). Jeff has brought more than 35 plus years of experience in accounting and auditing of public and nonpublic companies throughout the world to the Beef Checkoff. This includes working for the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and various consulting firms throughout the years. As CFO for the CBB, Jeff's primary responsibilities include financial reporting & management, liaison to the Budget & Audit Committee, contracts, and human resources. Jeff grew up in Colorado and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license issued by the state of Colorado. Jeff is equipped with wide-ranging knowledge of audit planning and testing, internal controls, problem-solving and project management skills. He is an avid fan of the Broncos and enjoys the outdoors. Jeff and his wife, Dannell, live in Lakewood, Colorado, and have two daughters and one son.
