Position: Senior Director of Organizational Communications
Sarah Metzler joined the Beef Board staff in October 2018, bringing nearly 17 years of communications, public relations, marketing, extensive writing, community outreach and team building to the staff. Her prior work experience spans private industry, city and county government, media, performing and visual arts, education, and non-profit sector, including most recently owning her own marketing and communications company.
Born and raised in the small town of Yuma, Colorado, Sarah is the fifth generation of dryland wheat
farmers and cattle ranchers in her family. After spending 10 of her growing years in Alaska, Sarah returned
to Colorado in 1998 following her graduation from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. She now lives in Centennial, Colorado, with her two boys, Connor and Parker. When not in her gardens, you will find her perusing vintage bookstores, refurbishing old furniture, and doing just about anything that gets her hands dirty.
